Head of Product
JOB OVERVIEW
Based on market knowledge, research and a devotion to the MOO customer, the Head of Product will be responsible for the sales growth and development of MOO’s physical product portfolio and the online retail experience. He/she will lead the vision to ensure that MOO offers remarkable custom physical products that consumers want, and oversee the customer experience to maximize revenue.
More specifically, this position will be responsible for:
Market & Consumer Intelligence/Evangelism
- Managing the collection and analysis of consumer data and third party research to develop insights for both physical product development and an improved online retail experience and the expansion of MOO Designs
- Identifying trends within potential customer segments or product segments for new products or enhancements for existing ones
- Create product business plans including ROI analysis, competitive research & technology assessment
Product Vision
- Leading and developing the product vision in conjunction with the VP Marketing Sales and sell it to the management team
- Constantly reviewing the existing portfolio against competitors to identify opportunities to increase sales and conversion by changing pricing, promotion or online experience
- Recommending new products or enhancements to existing products in order to maximize the life-time value of a MOO customer and overall sales
- Ensuring all Key Performance indicators are tracked and reported for all products
Optimisation
- Work closely with Lead Interface Designer and other Product Managers to ensure that our products and services are timely and in demand
Product Development
- Establish the product management process to ensure the broader team understands the product management function
- Managing the product development and launch process for new MOO products line which includes:

- Gathering requirements from cross-functional teams (tech, operations, merchandising and product design) and distilling in to a comprehensive Product Requirement Document
- Work with Project Managers to develop a project plan for new product launches
- Balance technical requirements with commercial/market viability
REQUIREMENTS
- 5-8 years experience in Product Management or Category Management
- Keen commercial sense
- Creativity crossed with an analytical mind
- Strong leadership as well as highly developed entrepreneurial skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and persuasive skills
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment, and have demonstrated success leading marketing initiatives.
- Must be a team player, self-starter, and results oriented.
- Must be able to work on-site in London
- Consumer Goods Marketing Experience an asset
- An MBA is an asset
Web Developer
JOB OVERVIEW
Your role will be to develop web pages and update content on the www.moo.com website. This role requires a responsible individual who can balance multiple projects that involve working with customer facing applications, internal applications, and reporting systems.
More specifically, this position will:
- Contribute to a small & distributed web development team as we build a scalable, fast, state-of-the-art web experience
- Complete web requests on time with perfect accuracy
- Utilize common sense, flag unusual requests for management, add value
- Develop web pages and update content
- Participate effectively in a fast-paced environment
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 4 years of professional front-end web development experience
- Strong command of web standards, CSS-driven/table-less HTML layouts, DHTML (JavaScript 1.0-1.5, CSS1 & CSS2) cross-browser compatibility
- Some experience with PHP and the Smarty templating framework
- Flash/Actionscript experience a huge plus
- Demonstrated ability to deliver against a deadline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent inter-personal skills and team work
- Great sense of responsibility and attention to detail

(Trainee) Online Marketing Executive
JOB OVERVIEW
This internship is for 6-12 months (depending on your availability), working full time as part of the Marketing Team in our office in London.
More specifically, the Marketing Trainee will:
- Get hands-on experience with online marketing, communications, and customer care
- Work closely with team and marketing agencies on PPC and affiliate marketing
- Perform in-depth market research for our EU markets
- Enjoy direct contact with our customers
- Work closely with development team to translate updates to our website
- Assist in building local marketing programs with the Global Marketing Manager
REQUIREMENTS
- Some previous experience working on the web at any level.
- Interest in online communities and social networks
- Basic understanding of buying online and e-commerce
- Native speaker of Spanish, French, German, or Italian, and fluent in English
- Business/Marketing-related qualification would be ideal, but all training will be provided.
- A passion for the internet is a must!

Tech API Internship
JOB OVERVIEW
MOO is looking for a tech intern to learn about our API and make awesome stuff with it. We don't care what programming language you use. If it's one nobody's used before, you could be the first to write the wrapper library for it. All you need are top-notch coding skills and some ideas for what to make. (Don't worry, we have plenty of ideas too!)
More specifically, the API intern will:
- Work closely with the tech team improving our API
- Build standalone MOO applications
You will get:
